Update 4-28-08

Hello all,

The Kaskawits family is doing well! We are greatly enjoying the warmer weather!

Natalie and Ryan are super busy. Sometimes Ryan will wake up and ask us where he is going that day.

Ryan goes to school 5 days a week. He attends Temple Beth Or Preschool on MWF and goes to Wake County's Preschool through Parks and Rec on Tuesdays and Thursdays. His Wake County Preschool ends this coming Thursday, and they are having a picnic to celebrate. Ryan took swimming lessons in February and is taking baseball (per Ryan we are not allowed to call it t-ball) Wednesday evenings in April. Ryan will start kindergarten, yes kindergarten, in July. The year round school won't open until August so Ryan will attend the traditional base school in July. Ryan and Natalie's year round school is being built on Leesville Road north of 540. We will be on year round track 3, and Ryan and Sherry had a tour of the base school on April 10th.

Natalie is going to Temple Beth Or Preschool also on MWF. She is taking swimming lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays in April. She loves being the locomotive train and leads the other children in scooting along the wall while in the pool. Natalie took a class called Animal Farm in February. She liked this class and was enrolled in it after her dance class had been cancelled. She will hopefully take dance in the fall.

Both children will be attending camp this summer through Parks and Rec. While Ryan's in school, Natalie will take a cooking class and also go to Temple Beth Or camp closer to the start of next school year.

Sherry is looking to sub through Wake County and possibly at the preschool next year. Stuart has been working hard as usual with counterparts here and in China and Taiwan.

Sugar is at the dentist getting her teeth cleaned today. She is doing great and turned 9 on February 28. All of us, including the kids, have fond memories of Lady and feel she is still with us.

The Kaskawits family including Sugar went to Virginia Beach in April. We had an enjoyable visit, and Natalie and Ryan enjoyed playing with their cousins, Sean, Sydney, Michael, and Brayden. Mom and Dad Eluto recently came for Passover. Ryan and Natalie had made seder plates, Elijah cups, and Matza covers in school. We will see Mom and hopefully Dad on Mother's day.

The Kaskawits family without Sugar is going to Orlando in August to celebrate Dad Kaskawits' 75th birthday. We will enjoy being with Mom and Dad, Marcelle, Philip, and Evan. Natalie and Ryan can't wait to play with Evan.

We send our regards to everyone! Stuart will post some additional pictures soon. Please post comments on our site. We love to read them.
